Summary: The only thing to add from our review from last year is that we checked in for a bit longer this time. Quiet and picturesque location up in Les Baraques was ideal for a combined work and holiday trip. Bernard and Christine are lovely hosts and aa others have observed the property is ideally located for visits to costal and inland Provence. Marseille is close by (25 minutes) and we were lucky to get tickets for a stunning performance of the 25 anniversary tour of the hit musical Notre Dame de Paris at the Marseille Dôme.

Summary: A delightful and well appointed two bedroom apartment unobtrusively adjacent to the owners property. Two patio/terraces at your disposal to chase the sun or find the shade; with a pool to cool off. Bernard was a charming and helpful host, with tips and recommendations for local and nearby attractions and places to visit.

Summary: My husband and I had a fantastic holiday at La Safranade with my sister and her family. Bernard and Gilda were wonderful hosts, very hospitable and gave us great advice and local recommendations. The house itself was very well equipped, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean, as well as had a lovely terrace overlooking the Garlaban (we dined and breakfasted al fresco almost every day!). The swimming pool was great for the children - the cover acted like a greenhouse and kept the water nice and warm. All the sights are within a half hour drive (Marseille, Cassis, La Ciotat, the Calanques), so it was great to see the tourist sights and retreat back to the countryside for some peace and quiet. La Safranade was just perfect for our visit to Provence - we had a family holiday there we will never forget. Merci beaucoup, Bernard et Gilda!

Summary: We spent one one week for riding our race bike. Beatifull place to riding , Espiquilier, Evenos and Mont faron is close by. Appartment is very nice and location is quit. Well equiped everything was there. Gentill owners. Nothing to coplaine

Summary: Nous avons passé une semaine dans ce gite idéalement situé à seulement 20 minutes de Marseille, Cassis, des plages ou encore d'Aix en Provence. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'impeccable propreté des lieux, la piscine avec une eau à 30°, le jardin magnifique et l'air conditionné dans le gite. Et que dire de l'accueil plus que charmant des propriétaires ! Une location à recommander chaudement !

Summary: Le havre de paix que nous avons trouvé chez Gilda et Bernard nous a enchantés: tout là-haut sur la colline, nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans un appartement luxueux doté de nombreuses fenêtres qui surplombent un superbe paysage et surtout d'une magnifique terrasse d'où la vue embrasse le Garlaban et ses collines avoisinantes. Nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis chez nous grâce au chaleureux accueil de Gilda et de Bernard et à leur bon goût quant à la décoration et le grand confort de cette location. Nous avions la jouissance d'un très beau jardin (un parc...) en restanques ainsi que de la très belle grande piscine de nos hôtes où nous nous délassions dans une eau pure et à 30°. Nous avons trouvé le séjour trop court et rêvons de revenir dans cette maison où toutes les ondes sont positives. Merci à Gilda et Bernard. Annick et Patrick

Summary: Notre séjour chez Gilda et Bernard ne nous laisse que de bons souvenirs: la qualité du gîte (avec mention spéciale pour la salle de bain, très belle et spacieuse: du jamais vu dans une location!) n'a d'égal que le sens de l'accueil des propriétaires. Si vous ajoutez le calme, un grand jardin arboré et une magnifique piscine, ça commence à ressembler à un petit coin de paradis, non? Encore merci à Gilda et Bernard. Nous reviendrons.
